The scholarship is established in honor of Carlos Appleman.

Eligibility (not all-inclusive)

  • Applicants must be residents of Wayne County, Ohio
  • Applicants must have earned their high school diploma or GED
  • Applicants must be pursuing a degree to become an LPN, RN, Nurse Practitioner (NP) or other healthcare occupation
  • First preference shall be given to applicants who demonstrate financial hardship and/or those attending Wayne County Schools Career Center
  • State Ohio

  • Amount $5,000
  • Requirements High School, Undergraduate, Essay, References, Transcript, Specific School, Financial Need
