This fund was established to assist graduates of Washburn School, Grainger High School and Hancock County High School in pursuing Nursing programs of study leading to licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).

Scholarship Amount

One $3,500 one-time award for one year OR two $1,750 one-time awards for one year.

Eligibility Requirements (not all-inclusive)

  • Residency Requirement: Grainger or Hancock counties
  • Education Requirement: Graduating senior from Washburn School, Grainger High School, or Hancock County High School
  • Field of Study: Registered Nurse (RN) Licensure or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • GPA Minimum: 3.0
  • College/Enrollment Requirement: Full-time enrollment at an accredited public or private nursing program in the state of Tennessee
  • Must demonstrate financial need

Deadline

The deadline for most 2021 scholarships is February 15, 2021.
