The Barnes W. Rose, Jr. and Eva Rose Nickol Scholarship Program, sponsored by the Albuquerque Community Foundation, is for an Albuquerque, New Mexico High School senior pursuing a bachelor's degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) major.

This Scholarship Fund was established in 2003 in memory of Mr. Rose and in honor of Eva.

Requirements (not all-inclusive)

  • 3.6 GPA
  • Must belong to the low-income bracket or possess the need financially
  • Enrolled in a college or university in the need to upgrade the degree under the STEM courses
  • Letter of intent
  • Two reference letters from assigned Albuquerque high school math and science professor
  • State New Mexico
  • Deadline 03/16/2021
