The A.B. and M.R. Noel Scholarship was established in 2008 to benefit graduates of Wood River Rural High School in Wood River, Nebraska attending Central Community College or Concordia University in Seward, NE. It is also offered to students of nursing attending Central Community College and Concordia University in Nebraska.

Varies - $500 Minimum Award

Eligibility (not all-inclusive)

  • Current graduating senior or former graduate of Wood River Rural High School in Wood River, Nebraska who is attending Central Community College (Columbus, Hastings, Grand Island) or Concordia University OR a student enrolled in nursing at Central Community College in Grand Island or Concordia University
  • 3.0 GPA or greater
  • Maintain minimum 2.8 or above college GPA each semester
  • Preference given to applicants who have shown involvement in high school, college and community activities
  • High school or college transcript and first page of FAFSA report
