Is there any financial aid being offered here for Nursing courses in the Philippines?
I'm just asking. I am sophomore nursing student in a certain university here in the Philippines and my family are really struggling for money, just like other Filipinos. I really wanna help my dad to lessen the burden on his shoulders since I am the only daughter he spent most of his money. So...

If you're looking for an institution that gives out scholarship specifically to Nursing students, I can only suggest your school's College of Nursing. Study hard, perform well, take a scholarship exam and if you meet the requirements, you should be granted a scholarship if they have funds for it.
Try to ask your local government. Here in Pasig, I heard that our municipality gives out scholarship in our city's Pamantasan.

Most schools offer scholarship to their hardworking, responsible, and intelligent students who meet their respective grade point average/grade weighted average per semester.
But, just a suggestion. You may also ponder on shifiting from nursing to other course. In the Philippines, nursing is not really that amusing. Moreover, you also need a lot of money to get out from this country.

I've heard from our clinical instructor that 3rd year students or any nursing students who had taken Maternal & Child Nursing can apply for an MCNAP scholarship, I just don't know much about that scholarship program though.
If your looking for nursing schools that offer such programs, I can tell you something about my Alma Matter. Our school also provides scholarship grants for upcoming qualified freshmen nursing students who passed the screening process and retention requirements. The applicants will be subjected to a series of screening process and will be ranked according to their over all score. We were 150 qualifiers in our class & I was able to maintain that until I graduated.
This isn't just any ordinary study grants. Qualifying for a full scholarship program in our school means you are not entitled to pay a cent for your tuition fee & miscellaneous expenses. While regular students pay around 25,000 PHP to 50, 000 PHP per semester, you would pay nothing.
For those who didn't initially qualify for the scholarship grant, the Year GWA is being assessed and if your average is 1.75 or higher, then they will include you in the program. This is how me & a couple of my friends were able to afford studying nursing despite being an expensive course.
Oh by the way I'm from the University of Makati.

Hi, I badly need a scholarship. I am in probationary stage with the scholarship that I have due to a 88-86 grade in one subject. My GPA is in 1.37 this first sem. Please inform me if there is any scholarship that may help me that doesn't require me to leave the current school I am in. Thank you.
