Saunders online 4 week review course

Published

Has anyone done the Saunders online review course? On the recommendation of a previous student that look the NCLEX 3 times and passed on the third, I bought it and just took the diagnostic PreTest. Didn't do very well to say the least. Hope that's not a glimpse of what's to come. Anyway, just wondering if anyone has used it and if so how it worked out....or didn't. Thanks!

Yes!! I also brought the 4 week course. I must say it was a waste of money. I got a 80% on the pretest, which got me a little happy. I continued with the review course and find that after day five I lost interest. The final Nclex or CAT is good it said I passed. It is nice to have as to see how far you have come, but I do not think it is an indicator as to how you will actually do on the real Nclex. Their questions were good, but I find Kaplan's qbank more challenging. Overall ok. I am not sure I would recommend it to anyone I would say just stick to Saunders actual book instead of this course.

Best of luck to you though.

Thanks! I appreciate your feedback greatly! I'm taking the exam in 4 weeks and don't want to waste my time if it's not worth it. I would much rather spend it on things that others have had success with. I also have access to the Kaplan qbank so I'll probably just stick with that and the books. I'm guessing you've already taken the NCLEX? When and what did you think?? I'm starting to get reeeeeeaaaaaally anxious.

I an in the same boat with you. I will be taking mine the 30th, so I am nervous as well. I feel I am more challenged with the Kaplan qbank and feel you do not want to go with something that is easy and get to the Nclex and say "What is this!!!??" I have heard great things about Saunders and the qbank so I am using those.

Good Luck to you.
