I am applying for S22. I believe I have about 85 points.

24 points for a 4.0 science GPA

3 points for completing all my science courses within the last 7 years.

5 points for English 101 (since I received a letter grade of an A)

12 points in total for all the GE  (soc, humanities, speech, history, psych and stats)

6 points in total for math 219, critical thinking and chem

10 points for my first TEAS score

20 points for 1000+ hours as an EMT

3 points for life experiences

2 points for fluency in second language

I believe I've calculated everything correctly!

Good luck everyone!

Also, be advised that if you have taken the BIOL G200 Pharmacology class at GWC, they do not accept that.

Hi!

I sent in my application this past Friday for S22 and If I calculated everything correctly I should either have 82.5 or 83.5 points in total! Depending on whether or not they count all five points for life experience.

I am a prior Hospital Corpsman, and I have worked as a Medical Assistant for the past 2 1/2 years.

Good luck everyone!

Hello, Rachel. I believe that in terms of life experiences it's a personal matter, so unfortunately I do not feel comfortable sharing which sections apply for me.

Um okay, just curious with how you wrote the paragraphs, I don't know who you are so it doesn't make sense why you wouldn't disclose it.Weird

Then I was going to ask how after you told me because we may have similar categories. The cutoff last semester for alternate list was 86.5 points so with 85 points you might not get in.Bummer, have a good day.

Means she isn't being honest, which, unfortunately happens a lot with nursing school apps. I def hope we sendup in the same cohort, I know who to avoid.
