Sanford brown nursing?

Hello,

I am looking for some insight. I live on long island NY. I have had difficulty getting accepted into Suffolk community college's nursing program. Well I recently became aware that Sanford brown is now offering an associates in nursing in a time frame of 17.5months. I have gone to the school and spoken to both an admissions rep. and the nursing director but I am left with a lot of doubt whether to join this program or not. For starters the program is not accredited. Yes I am fully aware that just the lact of accreditation should make me run for the hills BUT the program is fairly new and accreditation is a process that requires at least two successfully graduated classes, which would occur after this upcoming class. Seems to me like it is still a big risk to take. Plus the cost is very high. So I would like to know is there are any RN's who have graduated from here? Or of any one can offer any insight on this. sorry for the long post!
