San Joaquin Valley College Pre-Reqs

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hi,

I am curious what people in the field or students have heard about pre requisite courses at San Joaquin Valley College. I have heard mixed reviews on the actual RN program, but my background is in social service and I have no science background whatsoever and need to take one class at a time so I can really get the concepts down. I am a bit concerned about how fast paced the courses are (10 weeks total). Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!

I don't know if it's too late, but this is what I just heard the courses are $1500 EACH they're 4 hrs long except I think she said micro thats 5hrs long and you meet twice a week during the week or they have weekend classes too (this is for the ontario site) you can either pay up front or in 3 payments. you can do sallie mae if you choose but it's one loan per class. the classes are in the evening I want to say 6-10? and weekends 9a-2p? but I'm honestly considering it aside from the price kinda gives me a feel for their teaching and I don't have to worry about not getting in to a class come this fall at a JC

Hey all

Any luck on getting accepted. Any alumni? I would also like to know about the program highly considering applying for the upcoming co-hert
