Hi, im new to this site, but i was curious what everyones TEAS scores were and what their points were when they applied for the Nursing program. accepted? not accepted? I've got a couple pre reqs to go, and I'd like to have a better idea of what i have in store for me. Thanks

Hi, I posted on another thread that asked the same thing for spring 2013. I haven't applied yet but will doing so in the future. I scored an 87 on the TEAS and have an overall score of 83.5. After I apply I'm sure to posts updates somewhere on allnurses I hope this helps!

Hi, I was reading through a blog for fall 2012 classes and someone with a 71.5 overall got in right away, but someone with a 71 was alternate number 4. The alternate also eventally got in. It seems to be much more competetive than previous semester since only 40 students are chosen, but I'm sure the points will vary quite a bit depending who applies each semester. My counslor also told me that the highest score last semester was 86. I have an overall of 74.5. I hope this helps! :-)

Thanks jvid85, I read the same thing but didn't know about the high. I know people with scores of 60s and high 50s also getting in last semester. They were alternates and as far as I know, there's been at least 9 declines/DQs.

That's awesome....I feel a lil better now. I can still retake the TEAS but I don't want to pay another $110. I feel a lil more confident in my current score now! You're sitting pretty NB84...good job! Best of luck to both of you! Ill definitely be posting as the process goes along. Its nice to have a place to share with others who are going through same thing.

With a 74.5, you won't have a problem getting in :). I'm in the same boat, I can take the TEAS exam again but don't want to pay the fees. I feel as though I could've done better :/. Anyway, thanks jvid85, I'm sure I'll see you in the program if/when you decide to accept!
