San Francisco General Hospital Interview tips

U.S.A. California

Published

Hey all. I have an interview at San Francisco General Hospital this week for a med/surg/telemetry unit, and was wondering if anyone out there has interviewed there? They said the interview will consist of 7 nursing case scenarios and a medication test. Any helpful tips would be greatly appreciated! I'm super nervous!

Is this for a new grad position?

nope. Experienced RN, just haven't interviewed in a while :-)

So ho did it go at the interview? I have an interview as a CNA there next week and they mentioned about the case study scenarios. Any advice now that you went through it?

The interview went well. All of their interviews are very structured. They asked pretty straight forward questions and they kinda steer you in the right direction. basically they just want to see that you can handle stressful situations. Just use common sense, and you will do great!

How did you get an interview as a CNA there? I am doing prerequisites at College Of Marin and am hoping to eventually work as a CNA at Marin General. Any advice on how to get in would be much appreciated!
