San Antonio PACU

Hi! I'm a 1 year old nurse who'a been working in a medical/surgical ICU since I got my nursing license. There's a lot of things that I love about the ICU but after having my baby I'm feeling mentally and emotionally burned out and I'm hoping to transition to PACU within the next year. I know different units have different cultures so I'm hoping for some input from nurses currently working in a PACU in San Antonio. Tell me if you love or hate where you work so I know where to look for openings! Hoping for a good work/life balance: preferably 3-4 day shifts per week with a reasonable amount of call hours and respectful social culture among nurses. I'm gonna try to stick it out another year at my current job but going to get all of my ducks in a row so that if a great opportunity arises I can apply quickly.
