Hello all,

My significant other is looking into nursing programs in the Austin and San Antonio area. We will likely be re-locating to San Antonio in the next few months, so we are leaning that direction. She is currently a paramedic, has an AAS already and has all of the prerequisites for the SAC program, with a 3.5 GPA.

We're open to other schools if there are alternative suggestions.

Are there any graduates or current students that have any insight into the program? Some specifics that we're interested in are:

1. What is a typical week like? Can any of the classes be done online and/or attendance not be mandatory?

2. How is the program itself? Would you recommend it?

3. Is working while in the program a possibility or is the work load so heavy that it makes work difficult if not impossible?
