Hello, I live in Cali and well it's so hard to get into any nursing schools. I live in the Bay Area and was looking at Samuel Merritt. I know it wouldn't be easy to get in to but how hard is it to get into. I was looking at applying. I also am not looking at going out of state because it is too expensive for me.

Hi -
I'm in the ABSN program at the Sacramento campus. It will depend on your grades/GPA, your background, and especially how you answer the short-answer questions and what your letters of recommendation say about you. I was accepted right away, a friend was waitlisted (but ultimately got in), and another friend was rejected. Most of the students in my cohort are very strong academically but some are there more because of other strong factors than grades (like previously work in the medical field).

Samuel Merritt University, located in the Bay Area, offers a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program with an acceptance rate of approximately 67%. While it's competitive, it's not the most difficult to get into. Ultimately, choose a program that aligns with your career goals and financial situation. Best of luck with your nursing journey!

For your friend who got denied, why did she get denied? What was her stats?
