Sam Houston State University (SHSU) BSN - Fall 2025 Nursing Program

Hey everyone, I noticed there wasn't a forum for Fall 2025 yet, so I decided to create one! This way, we can ask questions and stay in touch throughout this journey. Wishing everyone the best of luck, and I hope we all get accepted! From what I've heard, it's usually around the 45th day after the deadline that we'll hear back, based on past years.

My stats:

Overall GPA: 3.8

Science GPA: 3.7

TEAS:

82.7 overall

Science: 95.5

Math: 82.4

Reading: 76.9

English and Language: 72.7

I'm currently an SHSU student, and I have my CNA and BLS certifications. Looking forward to connecting with you all! 🙂

Hi! I was planning on applying for Spring admission bc I'll be done with prereqs early May but I saw that they moved the app deadline, so ima give it a shot. So far my prenursing GPA will most likely be a 3.74, and my overall will be 3.86. I still have yet to take the TEAS but plan on taking it in April. Im not very confident I will get in since Im not getting any preference points but I'm still going to try LOL

I submitted my application on the 3rd and heard back May 5th. 
 

GPA: Overall: 3.41

TEAS: Overall: 74%

- Math: 88.2%

- Reading: 82.1%

- English: 66.7%

- Science: 63.6%
 

Also, I took Biomedical Stats & all my courses are done at SHSU.
