Salary range in or around Joliet

I don't think that there are a great many opportunities for infertility nursing in the Joliet area. Neither of the local hospitals have infertility services, so you would be limited to office work. There are a couple of reproductive endocrinologists in town, but I don't think they do many office based procedures here. Most specialists have offices in other areas such as Naperville or Orland/Tinley Park where they perform most of their procedures. A friend of mine underwent in-vitro and had to go to the Orland office of her local doctor for most of her care.

what about in the crest hills area? maybe closer to chicago?

I am also looking at salaries, maybe around 60-70?

Crest Hill is basically as "suburb" of Joliet. It is a very small town with no hsopital and only a few doctor's offices. I'm sure that there are plenty of infertility office opportunities in the Chicaga area, especially in the Naperville, Orland/Tinley Park areas.

Salaries of $60-70K are unheard of in office nursing in the Chicago area. If that is the range you are looking for, then you need to look at staff nursing in the City.

Possibly $40K. I don't think you'd make much more than that in an office setting in the suburbs.

Hmmmm. We're looking into several places, but not sure where yet. I thought the salaries would be more than we're making now. Do you work in that area?
