Hello
I am relocating the Brox area at the beginning of the month. I have been a nurse for 10 years and I have my masters. Being new to the city I do not want to start out with a M-F job and would like to work bedside for awhile until I learn the city. I have been researching salaries and most of the information Ive seen so far is outdated the earliest was like 2012. So I am hoping someone can get me the real deal on salaries in New york for a seasoned nurse. I mentioned Montefiore and Jacobi hospital because I will be living in the Bronx area and from what I can see these are the hospitals closest to me, but I am open to hospitals like cornell and Columbia or really any major hospital as long as the pay is right. Any help would be appreciated. I have worked med surg, Tele, ICU, so any of these specialities would work.
I have considered traveling but honestly I am taken back by the pay scale for agency and it seems like just working FT would be better in the long run?

Hi there! Jacobi starts w/ $69K for RN ADN. It's a city hospital. So it might be higher for you cause you have a master's. Good luck!!!
