Safe staffing in medsurg

Hello! 

 

I am an LPN in Pennsylvania. The hospital I work for just started team nursing again. I currently work in the MedSurg department. I am trying to find regulations for safe LPN:Patient ratios in this setting. I can find regulations for long term care, but I am struggling to find regulations for acute care. I'm not sure if I'm just looking in the wrong places. I did call the State Board of Nursing and also left a detailed ticket on PALS. I just wondered if anyone had any information, websites or resources that I may have overlooked?
