SACRAMENTO/ROSEVILLE AREA- Infant care and programs

Nursing Students General Students

First, and foremost I have plenty of questions in regards to what programs are offered in the greater sacramento area, and child care. Please bare with me and I sincerely hope I don't offend or annoy anyone with this post.

Im a 23 year old mother, my daughter is 13 months old and she is a gem.

Im currently enrolled at Sierra College and am on course to get my associates as an RN,long term BSN.

I am only at the beginning of all of this finishing my math and starting pre reqs.

Can anyone give me information for ASN programs that are current 2016 in the greater sacramento area, and the gpa requirements for said program? Or any tips and advice on the nursing programs in this general area. Private schools included.

As for my daughter, my MIL will be watching her for the most part while I am attending school, but I would like for her to be enrolled in a Montessori or a daycare thats more than just watching your child, part time. Just for her own enjoyment and progression. I think it would be good for her to be around other little people. So anyone in the roseville area have recommendations on pre-schools, montessori, day care, age you think its appropriate and when they'd benefit most from being in daycare?

I'd also love to hear from any students/parents current or former and their experience with being a parent and being in a nursing program.
