On the nursing website it says that we don’t have to take SOC 321 if we already have an AA or Bachelor’s degree. When I am filling out the application online, it tells me that I cannot submit unless I put an equivalent course for SOC 321. How do I move past this? My official transcript shows that I have a degree. I also took Cultural anthropology at my university but if I insert that grade, I will not be eligible to apply. What are my options? Thank you for your help!

Hey! I am also applying. I believe Cultural Anthropology counts to replace Soc 321. It doesn't let you put yours there? If it's not on the articulation grid, you just have to include the course catalog/description. I'm doing that for my English and Comm class. But my Cultural Anth is on the Articulation grid from another CC in CA. I also saw something on the website that if you have a Bachelor's, you might have to submit a form showing you fulfilled it with some other class and have a counselor sign it. I would suggest emailing if you can't just input the Cultural Anth clas.

Hi,
I also applied to Sacramento City college for Fall 2019. Have you heard anything back yet?
Did anyone get in for Fall? I don't think I'm going here, as I'd rather do an ABSN. But I checked, and I got in for Spring 2020, even though I applied for Fall 2019. Anyone?
They have one application period, so it is for Fall and Spring. I did not get chosen for either. Nor the LVN program. I'm so bummed
