Hi! I'm interested in applying to Rutgers Newark ABSN later this year. I was told by admissions that they only evaluate applicants based on grades and GPA. They do not require a personal statement, letters of recommendation, or even clinical experience.
Has anyone that has been accepted into this program know what they are looking for? What are your stats? I have an overall GPA of 3.4 with a premed concentration (and I'm still missing 3 prerequisites). I didn't do so well in the beginning of my college career, but I finished my core sciences at the end very strong.
Major: psych
Minor: biology (with pre-med concentration)
Side note: the courses I didn't do very well in the beginning of college was more gen ED classes, nothing really related to my major or science stuff. (I started at a community college and later transferred to Rutgers Newark undergrad so I'm a previous student).
