Rutgers-New Brunswick or Felician College

U.S.A. New Jersey

Hey guys,

I have a little dilemna. I leave in bergen County and by next semester, I shall have my Associate in Liberal Arts. I then have 2 choices, either I go to Felician college (a private school, no waiting list) or I go to Rutgers. But however, I am not sure if Rutgers has a waiting list or not?

I was in the same situation but I was also considering Fairleigh Dickinson but with Rutgers being my first choice I was hoping to get in, instead I got waitlisted. It is very competitive, I had a 3.8 GPA and 6yrs military service (taken into consideration for acceptance) and still got waitlisted. I was accepted into both Felician and FDU and I chose the one with the better track record and the one that accepted the most credits from my AS which was FDU. Felician is a good school but they only accepted 32 of my 64 credits and you are required to take religion courses which wasn't for me. So in the end I will be attending FDU this fall which has a great pass rate of 96% on the NCLEX not that it matters to most people but something I appreciate.

For a minute I also considered FDU but Felician is more prompt to accept you (Instant decision Day etc)... But now, I am reconsidering it because I am trying to keep as much as credits as crdits.

Good luck in FDU ;-)

If I'm not mistaken...instant decision does not apply to the nursing program. I can't remember who I called, FDU or Felician, but I remember them saying they can't make instant decisions for Nursing students. Look into that but FDU got back to me rather quickly, like 2 weeks after they received my transcipts. Felician was the first to get back to me though. Good Luck on whatever decision you make!
