Hello! I applied to New Brunswick: College of Nursing but I wasn't accepted for the program. However, I decided to attend Rutgers Newark for Clinical Laboratory Science, and I'm hoping that I'll be able to transfer into nursing later on. Has anyone gone through the process of transferring into Rutgers nursing? I'm not sure when would be the best time for me to apply for school to school transfer. I really want to major in nursing, but it's such a difficult process of trying to get into nursing programs. I don't know if it matters, but I will have nine credits before Spring 2014 which are English Composition 101, Intro to Psychology, and Western Civilization. Can anyone also offer any tips and suggestions?[/quote'] I'm a little confused by your post. Where do you go to school now? Rutgers doesn't accept transfers directly into their nursing program. You have to go to the school of arts and sciences, take 24 credits there and then apply school to school. Also, you can't transfer into Rutgers unless you have at least 12 credits. I was told to apply for a school to school transfer in February.
