Rush GEM Program

Hello All,

I am currently applying to Rush's GEM program for next June, but I wanted to find out a little more about the program from people who are in it now. I have seen older postings from last year about the coursework but many people said it would be changing. I was interested in seeing what the quarters look like now and how much free time you have outside of class to do other things, such as, work.

Also, I would just be interested in hearing about anyone's experience. Do you like the program? Is it feasible for individuals who have never been exposed to the health care field to be successful in this program? How are the clinical sessions? Has communication between faculty and students improved now that the program has been around a little longer. It appeared that this was an issue in previous postings.

Any information would be greatly appreciated?
