could RPNs and RNs hete in Ontario practice profession fully as a volunteer

hello allnurses,, as you can see my topic pretty much says it all.. im kinda new in RPN job hunting and im even looking for volunteer work but most of the hospitals i talk to dont really accept RPNs... so i need someone here to enlighten me... :) thank you for your answers!!
