rodp a&p with microbiology

Published

Has anyone tried taking anatomy and physiology I with microbiology through RODP? I have never taken a class through RODP.

I've taken all 3 (A&P I and II, and Micro) on RODP. It was pretty rough but can be done. I found it hard because we were given a large amount of material to know before each exam and the exams seemed to ask questions about something little that I looked over.

If you are good at memorization and are disciplined enough to keep on top of assignments, I'm sure you will be fine!

I have taken them on campus before, but it has been 13 years. I just wasn't sure what to expect. Thank you for your reply

So is it mostly reading, memorizing and tests? It mentions assignments, can you tell me what these are ? and are you required to be online at certain times.

They didn't require me to be on a certain times. Tests would open for a day or 2 (can't remember how long), so you could get online when convenient for you to take them. They were timed, and make sure you have a good internet connection! Lol. I had it cut off on me once, thus me getting a B in the class.

I don't remember too many of the assignments. There were some where you had to read a scenario and answer questions. A lab where you soaked a chicken bone in vinegar, another why you dissected a chicken bone (having to answer questions for both labs and drop in the "drop box"). Nothing too hard or time consuming.

Definitely reading & memorization! If they have pictures in the PowerPoints, definitely memorize them! There WILL be the same pics on your exam and you will have to say what it is or what it does.
