How hard is it to get into Roane State Community College nursing program. I will be graduating high school in the spring of 2010. I really want to be a nurse and I have a very good gpa. How do you like the RSCC program, also? How long will it take me to get my associates in nursing after high schoool.

you should check out the Tennessee forum under the "Region" tab. There's a thread discussing EVERYTHING you wanna know about Roane State. I have a friend of mine that is currently attending there, and from what she's told me, it's pretty competitive to get in just like ANY nursing school out there. But just do ya research and go for it!! Just stay focused and aim for it..ya know?

I am a pre nursing student at RSCC. I've applied for the 2010 program. I would suggest that you to go to one of the information sessions. Everyone is welcome and they give you a lot of great information. I was told that between 600-800 people apply to the program every year and they only take 150 applicants. But I think every nursing school is really competitive. Just try to make the highest grades you possible can. They award extra points for A's & B's in A&P I, II and College Algebra.
