RN Refresher course/program

Greetings!

I live in Southwest Ohio (Warren County) and have been looking for Refresher course. I have a BSN degree and am in the process of transferring my license from another state to here.

It's been awhile since I graduated and only had 1 year experience working as a Public Health Nurse. I am looking to apply at a hospital but most of them require either 1-2 yrs. of experience or a refresher course.

I have been searching online, calling community colleges, hospitals, and nursing schools; even the Ohio Nurses Association and Ohio Board of Nursing but to no avail. There was a class in Cleveland but it had already started.

Any help is appreciated.

Thank you!

Yes, I checked that too, but most of them are in another state. Indiana is the closest to me (2 hrs away) but it's an online course only & doesn't have the clinical refresher (which I also needed). Thank you for your help. :)

Hi there! I am in the same boat as you are. I graduated from nursing school 7 years ago, but I never worked as an RN after graduation (stayed home with my children) . I'm ready to get my career started as an RN now but am needing a refresher course. We're you able to find one in the warren county area?
