RN Program process in orange county, CA

hi there! I'm planning to take up RN program in a community college but I'll be starting from scratch. I have a bachelors degree from another country but its in business administration field. i have been doing my research online but need more info. I was in the verge of enrolling for OTA program in a private school but decided at the last minute that it's way too expensive, which is the same with the private school for RN program. I'm gonna end up paying $100k plus in total. I know being in a CC would take years before i finish but would save me from taking a loan that much. My husband and I want to clear our minds from keeping on paying off loans since we also have a plan of getting a house. here are some of the questions which i hope you guys could help me out.

1. Which Community College is better? For taking up pre -reqs and rn program here in OC? Cypress College, Cerritos College, Saddleback College, Goldenwest College?

2. How many years before I finish all the pre -reqs? Say, I will be a full time student.

3. How many hours does a single pre-req subject have?

4. Is there really a waiting list for the program? If so, how long?

5. Whats the first step for applying for admission for those who have a bachelors degree from another country? Am i considered as freshman?

Thanks people! If there's more u think i need to know, feel free to add it :)
