I am an international graduated nurse and I have a multistate RN license issued by Alabama. I worked for an year in Alabama and now I moved to Texas. I have done CES evaluation on Feb 2021 for Alabama BON and that record is available in CGFSN.
In Texas, I have to apply for license by Endorsement and I am in the process of doing that.
My question here is :
Do I have to do the CES evaluation again while I apply for Endorsement in Texas.?
The CES evaluation that I have done is only 1 year old and I see that it has a validity of 3 years. I am confused because the CES evaluation is sent directly to BON from my college when I did that in AL.If that is the case , do I have to do that again for Texas BON.?
This may be a question out of my ignorance.
If I have to apply for Endorsement every time I move to a compact state, what is the benefit of getting a Multistate license.?
Appreciate any response.
I have been struggling to get some info and all I am getting are conflicting responses.
