Hey everyone! I just graduated and am a newly lisenced RN. When I finished my LVN my plan was to continue with RN school as soon as possible. However, I got too comfortable with my job and I stayed there for 5 years! When I decided to go back to RN school i told myself that as soon as I finished this I would continue with my BSN and waste no time. Yesterday I called UT Arlington to begin the process in applying to their BSN program but while speaking to the enrollment specialist I was told about their RN to MSN-FNP program (which was what I eventually wanted to do). However, I am stuck deciding what to do because I like taking things slow and having a plan for everything. The advisor told me this track would save me a little more time and money. Has anyone on here gone through this track and if so, do you recommend it? Or, should I just focus on the BSN for now? Most importantly, will I be able to work during this MSN-FNP program?
I also just realized that I played this in the wrong forum ? sorry!

I am in almost the same situation. Did you find the answers you were looking for? I am curious about how competitive this program is as well. Thanks.
