I was offered $30/ hr with mileage after 26 miles. I was told I do not touch the patients. I gain information to help with their needs. I've never done this type of work. I've worked med/surg, ED, L@D and pediatric home health. Is this typical pay? I live in a relatively small town and am not sure if I can generate enough income. Sny advice is welcome. Thank you, Anita

I think 30/hr is a good rate. I assume it per diem and covers documentation time. I've worked for Humana (by default) for a few months. I assume the mileage after 26 miles is because, if you were going into the office or leaving the office the 26 miles would not be counted. I really enjoyed my time with my clients but not the company. I hope this helps!
