RN going back for BSN and then onto NP, any advice and any regrets from fellow NPs?

Hello all!!! I have been a nurse for 10 years, currently work in L&D, had brief (6 months) ER experience and liked it. I will be starting an online RN-BSN program soon then on to a reputable NP program, any advice, regrets,concerns from those of you that's been down this road before? What, if anything, would you do differently, I want to get the best out of my experience and would appreciate some guidance. Thank you in advance!!! Oh! how did you guys make the decision to specialize?
