RN endorsement as international graduate

U.S.A. California

Published

I have a Florida and New Mexico RN license and I am currently working in New Mexico, but my husband has to move to California for work, so I'm trying to understand the endorsement process for California.

The endorsement webpage says that California requires sealed transcripts from the university, but I'm wondering if they accept transcripts forwarded from an evaluation board instead (from ERES, for example) since I already have gone through that process. The university I graduated from in the Philippines requires you to request transcripts in person, so I'm trying to avoid requesting transcripts directly from them again.

Thank you!

Hi Chayles. I know that the BON will accept transcripts from CGFNS. I applied for an endorsement last week to and Im a graduate from the Philippines. Have you heard from them? Ive been hearing that they have been requiring foreign graduates to go to school for certain courses. Can you post here if you were successful in your endorsement?
