I cannot speak for Capella, but I did an RN-to-BSN program through my state college that was all online. I did have to do a clinical component for the public health nursing course, but it wasn't difficult. The clinical consisted of working with a public health nurse or agency for 60 hours and creating an educational program to combat an identified issue with the population served.
In the end I spent about 12k on the program and took 1.5 years to complete, but work mostly paid for it through tuition reimbursement.
Ultimately the choice is yours, you want to look at what courses are necessary, will credits transfer if you choose to go elsewhere, are they accredited, cost, length of program, flexibility with work schedule.
Best of luck!

I'm thinking about going back to school for my BSN. What are your recommendations for school? Is Capella a good program? What is field study and is it required for RN to BSN?
