RN and BSN from Israel

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Hello, I am new here, and very glad that i have found this forum.

I am a RN and BSN from Israel, and I am interested in becoming a RN in the US. I already completed almoust all the process with the New York board of nursing and now I am eligible to take the NCLEX test.

Its about a month that i am studying to the exam, and now i have a few questions:

1) I am now in the midle of the Saunders review book, na d i can see now that it is taking me a lot of time to go over all the book ( i am studying at least 2 hours a day), so I am interested to know what are strategies that are common in studying for the exam?

2)I have got the feeling that the questions at the end of every chapter are not the type of questions that i am going to encounter on the real test ( I have also the Lipincots Questions book, and the questions there are extremely dificult in comparison to the questions at Saunders)

so i would like to know wich one of the types of questions realy represent the type of questions that are on the test?

3)Are there a lot of priority questions on the test, or is it more about pure knowledge? and what are the strategies to cope with the priority questions?
