Hello,
I am looking to get my RN-BSN completion. I want to attend a school that meets only 1-2x a week or has internet classes. I want to attend a program that others would recommend. Preferably a school that has interesting, challenging, interactive coursework and good clinical experiences.
I am currently looking into Loyola, North Park University, and West Suburban. I also will look into Rush and Lewis.
If anyone has any experience, opinions, please share. I would appreciate any responses!

How about University of St Francis. The only thing, well two things, it's expensive and the classes are only 7 1/2 weeks long. So, you are cramming 15 weeks course into 7 1/2 weeks. They say these classes are for working adults?! One nice thing is it is all online.

I found all of the local RN-BSN programs a bit out of my price range, so I chose an online program.
Lewis University also has an on campus RN-BSN program that some of my colleagues are enrolled in....I don't think that they even require clinicals, but I could be wrong on that...
Good Luck in finding a school!
Whoops...guess I need more coffee this AM, youre looking into Lewis. Another suggestion is NIU, I think they have online courses and some satellite sites that are farther in toward the city than DeKalb. Its a state school, so tuition should be reasonable.
I am in the same situation. I heard that Lewis only meets once a week. But like I said USF is very intense, I took the first class. I had to write eight papers ( 1 had to be 7-8 pages), keep up with the online disscussion questions, read 3-4 chapters a week, and try to study for the tests! I need a program that is spread out over the 15 weeks or does not require so much at once.
Has anyone heard about the reputation of Governors State?
