RN to Assistant Nurse Manager

I've been offered a promotion and curious about the tentative offer received. Technically, my nurse grade isn't changing (Nurse 2), but should I be receiving a step increase with the promotion? The tentative offer shows my same current grade and step. I've heard about a 2 step promotion. Is that only when promotions to a different grade or does that also include when promoting to a different position? Thanks for your responses.

Check the pay scale schedule.  There is a different one for managers.

Thanks! I checked for my location and it seems there is a different scale for nurse managers, but not assistant nurse managers. I'm guessing assistant nurse managers are paid on the same scale as RNs...doesn't seem right. I'll ask HR more tomorrow.
