Hey, I was wondering if anyone had any information on the riverside practical nursing program? I am going to apply, but I am unsure how competitive it is. It says that you need a 2.0 highschool GPA. Highschool was a bad time in my life. I got an advanced diploma, but rarely went to class and ended up with a 1.6 ( barley passing!).
I have an associates degree in science from TCC. I took a lot of difficult classes early such as chemistry and calculus, some of them I had to retake. My GPA is a 2.6 from that degree.
I am going to study until I can't study anymore for the TEAS and based on practice test, should end up in the 70 to 80 range.
Do I have a chance? I was considering MCI ,but I hear so many terrible things and it's twice as expensive. Has anyone applied or gotten into Riversides program and would be willing to share some of their background?
