Hi Everyone, I'm new here but I'm desperate for some answers from students, past and present. To give you a little background about my current education to give you a better understanding from where I'm coming from and what I have for questions and what I need for answers I'll start by saying...
In high school I wasn't the best student so when I graduated, I decided to go to a community college to bring up my GPA and figure out what I wanted to do with life and career choices. Fast forward to now going into my third year of college and knowing that nursing is the best place for me to be, I have most of my gen ed and prerequisites done with a 3.7 GPA. I'll be finishing up my classes this fall and I'll be taking two in the spring, then I graduate. Now for the questions that I have...
Since I want to apply to RIC's Nursing program and begin get into it by next fall (2019), I have a lot of things to get done by December including my essay, application and the TEAS exam.
I'm super nervous and slightly freaking out to take the TEAs because I have terrible test anxiety and I don't do good with timed tests/exams. I know that's something I need to get over, and I've been working on it. I've searched high and low for the answer and can't find it anywhere. I just want to know, What is the score you need on the TEAs to be accepted into the program and what is the BEST way to study and prepared for it? And if a person fails, how many times can they take it over before they get officially denied from the program?
Also, what does the transfer process consist of and how long does it take/how soon should I start it?
Thank you,
Your future Nursing Student
