I am trying to find info about using reversal agents...ie. narcan, romazicon, enlon plus...Anesthesia uses some or all of these agents as well as PACU RN's. My question is after a reversal agent is given, how long do we have to monitor the patient? If anyone has input or access to any information, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

We keep them at least one full hour after reversal generally. Narcan works fast but you have to keep assessing because it also has a short half life.
