Hello just rejoined.
(Now retired ex. psych, general, paediatric and geriatric clinical registered nurse.)
Have a lot of info about some of the challenges with Aspergers. My stepson has Aspergers and is now, after some 22 years still having many challenges with life.
I have a detailed history of the family and suicides and Aspergers, trauma and other problems.
Is anyone studying and would like a challenge - possible thesis material and study that could help others.
My wife has many documents and letters written in first, second, third person from her husband of a previous marriage who committed suicide...........that is just for starters.
Love to hear from genuine beings who are genuinelly interested in truly understanding and therefore being able to help other families in critical situations as and my wife has never had this.
I have personally worked for 45 years in nursing and have when on the 'inside' of the health system things could be sometimes worked out. But now since retiring I have found that there is so little help on the 'outside' of the health system - especially in the area of mental health.
