Resurrection University Spring 2015 Applicants

Hi everyone! I just thought of starting a thread for those applying for the Spring 2015 semester. I already finished submitting all the required documents for application and just waiting for the news if I get accepted to the program. Good luck with everyone!

hey! also applied to resu spring 2015. does anyone know when the applicants start to hear back from admissions?/ find out if we are accepted or not?

Hi katy! I think the deadline for spring 2015 applications ended just last week. I talked to John and told me they cant give a specific date on when you will know if you get accepted or not but he said it usually takes about a month. He said to just wait for the email or phone call from them. Did you apply for the day program or the nights/weekend program?

great! 4 weeks cant come soon enough. pretty excited to take the next big step in becoming a nurse. i applied for the day program. how about you?

Yep yep yep, I also applied for the day program. How many more classes do you have left? Have you checked other accelerated programs other than the one here at Resu?

I also applied to the day program for spring 2015 and I heard back today that I got accepted! I'm super excited! Hopefully you hear back soon!

Wow really! Congrats Scortes! That was fast! When did you finish your application? Who was your adviser? And what are the next steps you need to do now?

I had everything turned in by August 15th. John pechacek is my advisor. He said I should expect to receive the acceptance letter by email and mail and that I should check my portal and submit the enrollment form with the $150 deposit to secure my place for the spring semester. Then I'd have to take care of all the other things such as medical, background, etc.

Oh we have the same adviser. I had to finish my 2 science classes this summer so I have the 3 required science classes before deadline so I barely made it to the deadline. I guess Ill call him next week and check about my acceptance too.

Yea, that's a good idea. I finished my last pre-req early August as well. But from what I was reading on other blogs, it's a first come first serve basis. For example, I read somewhere that they start getting back to people who completed their applications first. But who knows if that's true or not.

I was about to call John Pechacek today regarding about my application and I actually received a call from him seconds before I dialed his number. I finally heard the good news that Im accepted for the Spring 2015 term day program!

That's awesome!! I already submitted my enrollment form. I'm waiting to get the pin emailed to me to et started on bCkground and medical.
