I have to do a report assignment for class, where I hear a report and then write the information down in an organized manner. But, I am having trouble understanding what one part meant. It said: "d520 kcl in right acl 125/hr". I'm assuming acl is the ligament and kcl is maybe potassium chloride? But I'm not entirely sure what that means.
Help please? :)

The patient's getting D5 NS (or 1/2NS) with 20mEq of KCl (potassium chloride) at 125mL/hr in the right AC (antecubital). You're right, the ACL is a ligament, but you're not going to put an IV there lol...

5% dextrose solution with 20meq of KCl added, running at 125cc/hr, through an IV in the right AC.
Thank you so much! I was confused about the acl part, so I must have just misheard it.
