Remington & Utica

Hey,

I live in central florida and am looking into nursing schools in the area for a second degree (Hopefully an accelerated program) the problem is my cumulative under-grad GPA was a 2.9 and it seems like most state schools and community colleges in the area require a 3.0 except for remington and utica. I have read mixed reviews about being inside the program but I'm mostly concerned about job outlook upon graduation. Does anyone have any experience or comment on this? I'd really appreciate it.. Thanks!

Also, my GPA does not include 24 credits of prerequisites I have to take before applying, do you think schools will take that into consideration (the ones that require a 3.0 GPA) or do you think these schools will automatically deny my application because of the previous 2.9?
