Registering for Texas Board of Nursing

Published

Hello y'all! I have a dilemma regarding accepting an acceptance and the Texas Board of Nursing. Recently I got accepted into one of my top 3 nursing schools. I have no problem attending that school except that I haven't heard from the other two schools I also really want to get in. The school that accepted me needs to hear back from me on whether I will be accepting or declining my spot in their program. They have given me a deadline where I know that by that deadline I still will not have heard from the other schools. I had decided to accept the spot in the school because I don't want to decline it and risk not being accepted into the other nursing programs. I want to hear back from all three so I can then decide what is the best fit for me financially. When I was filling out the acceptance form, it was asking me for my address in order to be registered with the Texas Board of Nursing by the school of nursing. I was wondering, if I were to accept this spot, will I be permanently binded to this school based on the Texas Board of Nursing registration under them? I love this school and I plan on attending as long as it is the smartest economic option for me. However I cannot decide without having the other nursing school decisions. What do I do?

Thanks!
