I have Anatomy & Physiology and it is my last pre-req before I can get into the Nursing program. What did you use to study? Where did you get the items? Flash cards? Coloring books?
I currently have Anatomy & Physiology made Incredibly Easy" by Lippincott Williams & Wilkins. I'm debating on getting the following:
If you used those, were they beneficial for you while you were taking this course?
Thanks for your help and your responses!

I didn't use any of the books you listed but I did use a coloring book that was helpful. I also bought Barrons Anatomy flash cards and I really found those to be helpful, I would quiz myself at home with those. I also think you should get a study group, that was very helpful to me also. Hope this helps!
P.S. I found the flash cards and coloring books at Border's books. I think the flash cards were $25 but I can't remember how much the book was.

Hello!
I recently finished A&P I/II and achieved As in both. To study, I relied heavily on free Internet resources, including the following:

I found that because there is so much information to absorb with A&P, it can be difficult to digest it all. It's easy to miss the forest for the trees. Thousand-page textbooks compound the problem. A good, streamlined review source, like the Cliffs Notes above, was very helpful come exam time. Also, reviewing unit/chapter exams was very helpful for my midterms and finals.
Hope this is helpful.
Best,
Wendy

I used a coloring book it was about $14 from borders I also bought flash cards, but i really never used them except for the bones and a little with some of the nervous system.
anything I bought for extra study was from borders and I used coupons that they emailed me to get it cheaper. I have also done this with some of my nursing books that were required.

I also used a coloring book! The ones I bought were the "Anatomy coloring book" and the "Physiology coloring book" - they were about $20-ish each but they helped a lot!
