Recent interview

I had a recent interview for a correctional position and was wondering if my answer to a question was even remotely right. The question was "if I noticed that the needle counts were frequently incorrect and I suspected me supervisor, what would I do". So how would you have answered it?

If there is a problem and the supervisor is the main suspect, you take it to the next step up in the chain of command.

My answer was that regardless of whom I suspected I would follow chain of command and notify my supervisor because I didn't have proof. I also said that I would do a follow up to ensure proper protocol was followed to investigate the situation and if it wasn't then I would contact my supervisors superior about the situation.

Sounds good to me.
