Thanks for the info! I called one of the agencies today and she said roughly $40/hr (housing stipend) for a location somewhere in south Texas as an example. Of course, tons of variables which I know there are.
Really having to work a little bit to convince my husband this is doable! We live well below our means but still a little nervous about the unknown and losing part of our income when he retires. No matter how many times I tell him that if others can do it, so can we he still gives me that look. ;-)

Can a traveling RN realistically be able to bring home (net) each week at least $1,000?
Will find my own housing, no car rental or medical insurance needed, etc. - will take care of all that myself (well, some of it via my husbands retirement benefits).
Trying to work on a half-way realistic budget for the future. My spouse won't have a guaranteed income, other than his pension.
Thanks!
