Río Hondo College LVN - Application for Spring 2026

Hi guys! I just applied to Rio's LVN program! I wanted to make this for anyone who's applying during this period (August 15, 2025, to August 29, 2025) for the Spring 2026 semester. I made this so we can ask each other questions about requirements, acceptance, etc.

Hi I applied I was going for ADN but I am missing Micro class.. so Im planning to do LVN and then bridge to ADN ... I hope we all get accepted ( ahhhhh)

They take in 30 students and it's done on a lottery base which is kind of confusing bcs they ask if we have anything extra like volunteer hours to submit...

That is very confusing, is this your first time applying ?

 

Its my first time , and I heard of people waiting years which scares me

I actually applied last year. So this is my second year applying. I had all the pre reqs last year and they still didn't choose me. So hopefully this year is my year :(

I called the office and was told nothing yet that maybe until the end of October

No emails yet for me, this is my first time applying , I hope they choose you too.

I cant wait until the end of October if I am rejected or accepted I need to know by the end of this month heheheh 😁 I cant sleep or eat or think, its consuming me
